Meet Our Team
All of our dentists are talented, experienced, gentle and caring.
Jacy was born and bred in beautiful Wales. After achieving a BA (Hons) in Politics from Sussex University, Jacy developed a successful career as a make-up artist in television, film and music. Here she discovered her love of fine detail work. This, coupled with her desire to enhance her medical knowledge, led her to dentistry and she has never looked back!
She graduated top of her class with honours from Kings College London in 2014 and received the prestigious Koray Feran prize for best case presentation. She has been working in general practice since then, whilst continually developing her skills and investing in her postgraduate education so that she can provide the highest standard of care for her patients.
Jacy is very passionate about facial aesthetics and facial rejuvenation, and is a lead trainer for other Doctors and Dentists at the London School of Facial Aesthetics. She is extremely conscientious and driven to provide the absolute best care possible. Her kind and gentle nature and her experience mean she prides herself on making everyone feel as relaxed as possible. She is particularly gifted with nervous patients.
"I’m incredibly lucky to be in a profession where I get to spend time with people. Listening and getting to know my patients is the most rewarding part of my job, and I like to think that understanding what my patients want to achieve is the beginning of a great partnership.
I'm always committed to being the best dentist I can be, whether by providing cutting-edge clinical skill, focusing on preventing disease or simply spending time with my patients.
I love the results I achieve with my facial aesthetics and I’m a firm believer in helping my patients to feel rejuvenated and and to glow whilst maintaining their natural beauty. I'm always happy to chat through this with anyone, whether you know what you want or are just curious.
I live in Hove with my wonderfully patient husband Josh and our 2 beautiful children Louis and Minnie. I have an active involvement in fundraising for MIND and The Dental Wellness Trust, both of which are charities close to my heart. I love running (although I am constantly ridiculed by my husband for looking like Phoebe from Friends), and paddle-boarding with the kids in the summer."

Fay moved to London in 2007 and studied a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Kings College London. She received both the Maurice Wilkins Social Impact Prize on Pharmacogenomics and the Eli Lilly Prize for the best BSc Experimental Project. Her passion for medical science along with her love of patient interaction made dentistry an obvious career choice. Her love of London kept her in in London Bridge and she graduated with a BDS from Kings College London in 2015.
Fay’s main passion is oral and maxillofacial surgery and since 2016 she has worked part time at the prestigious Queen Victoria Hospital, firstly as a Senior House Officer and in more recent years as a Speciality Doctor. In this time she has gained a wealth of experience in surgery and managing patients, and honed the ability to provide difficult surgical extractions with ease whilst reassuring anxious patients. In 2017 she passed the Diploma of Membership at the The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSed).
When she is not working away in the hospital Fay works part time in practice providing general dentistry and extractions within the general dental setting. In 2016 she received a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in General Dentistry from the University of Kent. She is currently studying a Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry under Monik Vasant. The thorough understanding of anatomy she learned in surgical training also lends itself to her other passion of facial aesthetics which she trained in at The London School of Facial Aesthetics in 2015 and more recently The LAAM.
In her spare time Fay loves the great outdoors and is regularly found covered in mud after walking her extremely large Newfador dog Bear. A recent addition to her family is her daughter Cressida – a fellow red-head who definitely keeps Fay on her toes.
Dom qualified from the Cardiff Dental School with Honours in 2014, and he has worked in general practice in West Sussex and Hove ever since. Soon after qualifying he completed further postgraduate qualifications in dental care, and last year he completed a one-year course in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and takes pride in his ability to make patients feel welcome and at ease in his care.
Away from dentistry, Dom is a keen sportsman and particularly enjoys a round of golf in the South Downs, but his real passion is cooking.
Our hygienists are dedicated to helping you have healthy gums and a beautiful, bright smile.
After Emma qualified as a hygienist in Birmingham back in 1992, she moved to London where she worked in private preventative and cosmetic practices. In 2004 Emma moved to Brighton but still travels to London to work once a week. Emma’s bubbly and enthusiastic personality puts patients at ease.
Emma holds a Diploma in radiography and carries out tooth whitening procedures. She is also qualified to use lasers and assist with periodontal diseases, and was nominated for the prestige hygienist of the year award in 2012 and 2015.
Outside of work she is keen on keeping fit and spending time with her bulldog called Lucky.
Laura qualified from the Eastman Dental Hospital in June 1999 and has worked at the Windmill Dental Practice for the last five years. She has an empathetic, relaxed nature making her presence a godsend for those patients who get a little nervous on heading to the dentist.
Outside of dentistry, Laura loves to travel. Her hobbies also include scuba diving and playing netball.
Steven qualified as a Dental Hygienist form the University of Essex and re-joined in 2019 having previously worked at the Windmill Dental Practice as a dental nurse and receptionist before he left to travel the world and start his dental hygiene degree.
Steven offers all aspects of dental hygiene including maintenance therapy, periodontal treatment, airflow and teeth whitening.
Steven enjoys travelling, kickboxing and playing squash.
Our dental nurses are highly-trained professionals chosen for their cheerful nature and caring personalities.
I believe coming to the dentist should be a joy not a chore and I’m lucky enough to work in a team and environment that welcomes this.
I’m a huge animal fan, dogs in particular. You’ll often find me having Jacy’s dogs Snoopy and Rupert over for a sleepover. I’m also training to be a dog groomer. One of the things I’m most proud of is raising £2500 for the Macmillan cancer charity by shaving my hair off."
One of Stephanie’s favourite things to do is spend the day in London visiting attractions before ending the day with a show. Her favourite shows are Mamma Mia (because she has an unhealthy obsession with Abba), The Lion King and more recently she saw and loved Motown the musical. She loves to cook which is what she spends some of her free time doing if she’s not walking her 2 gorgeous doggies.
Xsara enjoys travelling is a keen baker, and has plans someday progress to become a hygienist.
Reception Team & Practice Management
Our reception team Grace, Claire, Laura and Michela together with our practice manager Sonia, are always happy to help with a welcoming smile.
Sonia joined the Windmill Dental Practice in August 2020, having previously held the position of Assistant Practice Manager at a busy dental practice in West Sussex. Sonia has worked hard to reach where she is in her career, and prides herself on maintaining that same level of organisation and hard work every day. Along the way she's qualified as a dental nurse, and she takes much satisfaction in mentoring trainee dental nurses as they work toward their qualifications and realise their potential.
In her spare time Sonia enjoys baking and cake decorating, drawing, arts and crafts, relaxing at a spa, afternoon tea, dancing and exercise classes. Oh, and the occasional glass of fizz!
Laura has recently moved to Brighton from London after her son went off to Oxford University, fulfilling her lifelong Cancerian ambition to live by the sea.
Laura enjoys long walks along the coastline and if there's music playing you can bet you'll find her dancing (albeit confined to the living room for now!)
